• The tradition and culture of food has always been important to us. Wild curiosity to understand what açai really is a pure ingredient and why it is considered a 'superfood' led our founder Steph on an adventure of a lifetime. Age 24, without any reference of Brazilian cutlure, Steph headed directly for the Amazon Rainforest in search of answers.

  • It was December 2015 that Steph tasted pure açaí, pressed straight from the palm tree, for the very first time. Those who are lucky enough to have visited the wild Amazon and try it, would agree there is nothing quite like açai freshly made. No matter how good we get it to you in London, Miami, Lisbon, Berlin, Tokyo or Sydney, it will never be the same as at the source itself... and we wouldn't want that experience to change for anyone.

  • However, the kind of açai experience we want you to have is the same as having your best ever chocolate, favourite glass of wine, or transformative sip of coffee.

On the many travels across Brazil, the best dishes, including; fresh-pressed açai with fish and cassava in the  Amazon, sweet delicious Mel de Cacau (cocoa honey) in the Atlantic Rainforest, and jackfruit stew in a spicy coconut sauce with Bahian friends, all became a vital part of the BOA VIDA experience. Food that is working for you and that you can feel changes you. Food experiences you want to share. Afterall, what we eat does more than just fill our stomachs and nourish our bodies; good food, really good food, lifts our spirits and helps us understand the world a little better.

At Boa Vida, our goals are the same as with everything we do: we aim to make the best quality product, without compromise to human health or Earth’s natural cycles, and perhaps most importantly, inspire solutions to living an extraordinary life, in symbiosis with nature.
